This course provides officers a broader awareness of procedural justice and its core principles; provides practical steps to integrate procedural justice core principles into organizational decision making and policy; and makes evident how to create an environment where procedural justice core principles become a standard practice within the law enforcement department. The four core principles of fairness, voice, transparency, and impartiality are discussed in the context of internal and external procedural justice, and their relationship to the development of personal and professional legitimacy.
