Michael Guerra is a Supervising Group Counselor with the Santa Clara County Probation Department and has over 16 years of experience. During his career at Juvenile Hall, Michael has experience working with a variety of populations ranging from developmentally disabled youth to young adults with serious offenses. As a Supervising Group Counselor, Michael has overseen a wide range of units and programs and was also an investigator with the Internal Affairs Unit for three years. Michael has developed curriculum for Juvenile Correctional Officer Core and has been an active instructor for approximately 10 years. Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies at San Jose State University in 2010.
